Well I booked a mini-vacation for us last night. I am off to Memphis next week and then 2 weeks back here in New Mexico. The weekend between the 2 weeks is Easter. So I asked Carl if he wanted to come to New Mexico for the weekend.... he said "yes". So I got the manager here to approve the expenses (I would normally fly home, so instead they are paying for him to fly here). Which is great! YAY!
I got an email from an old friend's husband today asking for my home address for an invitation to a baby shower. This is weird because I haven't seen said friend since our wedding. I have tried emailing but she never really responds. I have never been a phone person so I have never called. I knew she had gotten pregnant via a mutual friend's blog. Carl thinks we aren't friends anymore because of his history. Carl's old best friend is my friend's husband cousin. There was a huge fall out when Carl broke his neck (right before I met Carl). Anyway we think his cousin has a lot to do with this... So anyway I'm trying to figure out if I really want to go? It's just weird to me.
